The Story.

Reginald Duvillage is a Haitian lead guitarist, producer, and musical archivist whose career has run alongside some of Haiti's most legendary voices. From the stage with Dieudonné Larose and the Maestro Arthur of Orchestre Septentrional, to the studio producing works for Menard Pierre and the late Manecia Lahens, his work is a bridge between Haiti's deep musical lineage and its living present.

As an archivist, he carries the sound forward — preserving the textures of Haitian compas, roots, and gospel for the next generation of listeners and players.

The Approach

Tone first. Technique in service of the song.

A guitarist's guitarist working at the intersection of Haitian compas, roots, and gospel. Drop-C, heavy on the low end, never afraid of a clean tone when the song asks for it. Mid-solo, he draws on blues and jazz vocabulary to carry the climax.

Live runs and session work split evenly — productions for artists across the Haitian diaspora, and lead-guitar seats alongside the tradition's defining voices. Tone first; technique in service of the song.

Off stage, he teaches the next generation of players and builds out a home studio for writing and production between runs.
